Hoophouse Workshop, Saturday 26th, 10:30am

We made a lot of progress last weekend on our clean-up day!  Don’t forget that this coming Saturday, Citizens Committee for NYC is going lead a workshop to build a hoophouse (or greenhouse) at the Maple Street Community Garden.  The workshop will be led by Maggie Cheney, director of Education & Farm at EcoStation NY in Bushwick, and co-sponsored by National Grid.

The workshop lasts from 10:30 – 3:30, and portions of the event will be filmed in the early afternoon.

All are welcome, and this workshop is free, but please RSVP to wflorentino@citizensnyc.org to secure your spot!
